Krassimir Terziev, Sofia
Krassimir Terziev was born in Dobritch in 1969. He received Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology at Sofia University (2012) and MA in Painting at National Academy of Arts, Sofia, where he is currently lecturing at the Digital Arts Program. He is a member of ICA - Sofia. His solo exhibitions include: Between the Past that is About to Happen and the Future that has Already Been, National Art Gallery, Sofia / Dobritch Art Gallery (2015); Cosmopolis, ICA-Sofia, Sofia (2013); Background Action, Württembergischer Kunstverein, Stuttgart, Sofia City Art Gallery (2008/2007); Making Movies, Galeria Noua (2007). This publication is a monograph of the artist Krassimir Terziev that represents in one body documentation of his work from 2002 to 2015. It contains a critical text by Iara Boubnova entitled “SIC TRANSIT MEDIA MUNDI”, interview by Vladiya Mihaylova with the author entitled “The Contradictory Economy of Images and Media”, as well as 80 pages with colour reproductions and documentation of a selection of artist projects and works across different media like painting, drawing, photography, video, performance, installations and objects. The title of the publication is borrowed from the title of his solo exhibitions at Art Gallery Dobrich in Dobrich and the National Art Gallery in Sofia.

The premiere took place on 16th December at Sofia City Art Gallery.
