Nina Kovacheva & Valentin Stefanoff (ninavale)


Nina Kovacheva and Valentin Stefanoff graduated from the National Academy of Art, Sofia in 1985. They live and work in Paris, France and Sofia, Bulgaria


In 1994 they created their first joint installation - TheUsedOne.

This catalogue provides information on our joint works, mostly video and video installations. Black & white edition in three languages – English, Bulgarian and French, the book contains texts by Maria Vassileva, Irina Genova, Patrick Javault, Dimitar Kambourov, Lubomir Terziev. In the catalogue are included four “art recipes by ninavale” as well. These art recipes are placed after each of the texts. The book contains a common CV and one hundred and four images from some of our common works, personal and group exhibitions, presentations, as well as various events in which we took part.
